Local businesswoman, military spouse, and GOP activist Rhonda Rebman Lopez is running for House District 120 to decisively address local and state issues that are presently being neglected in Tallahassee. We believe that Rebman Lopez will demonstrate the enthusiasm and attention to detail that the people of Monroe County and southern Miami-Dade County need.
Rebman Lopez is a member of the Florida Advisory Council on Small and Minority Businesses, Monroe County Republican Executive Committee, and Republican National Hispanic Assembly of Miami-Dade County, among other roles.
Additionally, she just recently received the endorsement of the South Florida Police Benevolent Association. As State Representative, Rebman Lopez says she will make sure every member of law enforcement knows the State of Florida has “got their backs,” ensuring every department has the equipment needed to stop crime, protect officers, and defend their community.
We are also heartened to see that her platform includes ensuring House District 120 receives a fair share of state tax dollars, helping small businesses thrive, and adding jobs in the community.
Rebman Lopez is Director of Marketing for PECO International, a family business in Miami-Dade County. She knows firsthand how important small businesses are to her local economy and how burdensome regulations and unnecessary taxes can negatively affect their ability to survive and create jobs.
As a fiscal conservative, her leadership on this front, coupled with a deep understanding that agriculture is one of the district’s most important industries, is what is most needed now to help Florida continue to prosper and grow.
Rhonda Rebman Lopez is what is needed for the state of Florida and the people of her district, which is why the Community Newspapers endorses Rebman Lopez for the seat representing House District 120.
