School Board Member Danny Espino hosted his Year End Town Hall Meeting for the 2023-2024 school year on May 1, 2024, at Miami Dade College – West Campus. The event, focused on fostering and enhancing parent involvement in education, was a resounding success.
The Year End Town Hall Meeting provided attendees with a wealth of resources tailored to parents, caregivers, and community members interested in supporting their children’s educational journey. Representatives from esteemed organizations such as The Children’s Trust, My Safe Schools, and the Parent Academy were present to provide valuable information and support.
In addition to showcasing these resources, the event provided an opportunity for School Board Member Danny Espino to honor outstanding parent organization volunteers and assistant principals. Certificates of appreciation were presented to those who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment to their respective schools. Along with the certificates, attendees also received recognition and CMX CinéBistro tickets.
