District 5 School Board Member Danny Espino hosted his second annual Silver Knight Recognition Ceremony at the Doral Yard. This special event honored exceptional students nominated for the prestigious Silver Knight Award, recognizing their remarkable achievements and contributions to their communities.
The ceremony, held in collaboration with City of Doral Mayor Christi Fraga and City of Miami Springs Mayor Maria Mitchell, brought together students, parents, educators, and community leaders to applaud and celebrate the dedication and talent of these outstanding scholars.
Students from District 5 schools were presented with certificates of recognition, acknowledging their remarkable accomplishments and commitment to excellence. In addition to the certificates, students were also awarded prizes generously donated by local establishments, including restaurants in the Doral Yard, VME Kids, and CMX Cinebistro.
“This event is a testament to the incredible talent and dedication of our students in District 5,” said School Board Member Danny Espino. “It’s truly inspiring to see the passion and commitment these young individuals bring to their pursuits, and I have no doubt that they will continue to achieve great things in the future.”
Attendees of the ceremony also had the chance to enjoy refreshments and food generously donated by restaurants in the Doral Yard.
