The Doral Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated its 15th anniversary with a special lunch event at 107 Steak and Bar in Doral, featuring City of Doral Mayor, Christi Fraga, Vice Mayor Rafael Pineyro, Councilwoman Maureen Porras, and Doral City Manager Barbie Hernandez.
The event brought together long-time members of the organization as well as local business leaders and community members to celebrate the organization’s achievements over the past 15 years. The venue of 107 Steak and Bar was the perfect location for the occasion, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere for the guests to celebrate.
During the event, Mayor Fraga praised the Doral Chamber of Commerce for its contributions to the community and for its role in promoting local businesses and economic development in the city.
“The Doral Chamber of Commerce has been an invaluable resource for our community for the past 15 years,” said Fraga. “Their dedication to promoting local businesses and supporting economic growth in Doral has made a significant impact on our city, and we are grateful for their efforts.”
In addition to the Mayor’s speech, the event also featured speeches from Vice Mayor Pineyro, Councilwoman Porras, and Doral City Manager Hernandez, all of whom praised the Doral Chamber of Commerce for their work and congratulated the organization on their anniversary.
The co-founders of Doral chamber of Commerce, Manny Sarmiento, President and Carmen Lopez, Vice President also attended the event, Manny Sarmiento said “It’s been an honor to be a part of the Doral Chamber of Commerce and to see it grow and thrive over the past 15 years. We are so grateful for the support of Mayor Fraga, Vice Mayor Pineyro, Councilwoman Maureen Porras, City Manager Barbie Hernandez, our members and the community and look forward to continuing to serve and support local businesses in Doral.”
Carmen Lopez, Vice President, added “The Doral Chamber of Commerce has been a vital part of the business community in Doral and I’m proud to have been a part of it since the beginning. We’ve come a long way since our first meeting 15 years ago and I’m excited to see what the future holds for the Doral Chamber and the city of Doral.”
The event concluded with a networking lunch, where attendees had the opportunity to connect with other local business leaders and community members over delicious meals and drinks offered by 107 Steak and Bar.
The Doral Chamber of Commerce has played a vital role in the development of the city and has been an advocate for the local businesses and the community. It’s 15th anniversary celebration was a testament to the hard work of the trustees and members of the organization, and it’s an indication of the bright future that lies ahead for the chamber and the city of Doral.
