In commemoration of Area Stage and The Little Mermaid film 35th Anniversaries, the critically acclaimed Area Stage in a new partnership with Loxen Productions is proud to announce the world premiere of a 90-minute reimagined, immersive theatrical experience of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Audiences will step into a mystical seaside tavern where sailors and pirates share myths of mermaids and adventure in a brand new space carved out of an empty warehouse at Sunset Place Mall in South Miami designed by Frank J Oliva under the creative vision of director Giancarlo Rodaz. Previews start July 11th, 2024. Opening Night is July 13th at 7pm.
