Brévo Theatre, in partnership with The Roxy Theatre Group and with support from The Warten Foundation, presents the world premiere of Me & My Miami: The Musical. This high-energy, heartwarming show follows three Miami teens selected to perform at the Dade County Farmers Market Arts Festival. As their stories unfold through music, dance and spoken word, family secrets emerge, transforming the stage into a space for healing, truth and connection.
Written and directed by award-winning artist Patdro Harris, Me & My Miami is a celebration of culture, community and the power of youth storytelling. Part of Brévo’s Freshly Rooted series, this original production is a love letter to Miami—and a joyful experience for audiences of all ages.
Set in the lively streets of Miami, Me & My Miami follows three teens—Rosa, Fuquan and Joseph—who are chosen to represent the best of the city’s youth at the Miami Dade County Farmers Market Arts Festival. What begins as a celebration of international art and culture becomes a journey of personal discovery, as each performer reveals more than just their talent. Family secrets, personal truths and cultural pride collide in a kaleidoscope of music, dance and spoken word that’s both heartwarming and deeply resonant.
