Women’s Republican Club of Miami, Federated, a political grassroots organization affiliated with the Florida Federation of Republican Women, will host a Campaign Forum with guest speaker Ana M. Carbonell who will share her perspective on the upcoming elections based on over 20 years of public policy, political and legislative experience. Ms. Carbonell is the Managing Partner of The Factor, Inc., a Florida based public affairs and political strategy consulting firm. She has successfully managed numerous political campaigns and public affairs initiatives. In 2010, she handled the successful statewide Hispanic media campaign and messaging strategy for Florida’s Governor Rick Scott. Ms. Carbonell was responsible for winning the campaign that reelected Congressman Diaz-Balart to Congress by a 20-point margin in 2008. Her more recent political clients include Florida’s Attorney General Pam Bondi, Chief Financial Officer Jeff Attwater and Florida Congressman Maria Diaz Balart. Ms. Carbonell currently serves on the Board of the Centro Mater Foundation and the U.S. Cuba Democracy PAC.
The event is open to the public. Club members may attend free of charge; non-members will be charged $10 per person at the door. Complimentary CRAVE appetizers will be served.
