To celebrate AAPI Heritage Month, Wok Star Supper Club is teaming up with the acclaimed Ghee Indian Kitchen for a one-night-only dinner experience on Sunday, May 18 at 6PM in Wynwood.

Ghee has earned four Michelin Bib Gourmand distinctions for its bold, home-style Indian flavors and warm hospitality. At the helm is Chef Niven Patel, a James Beard Award nominee and four-time semifinalist for Best Chef: South, alongside his partner Mohamed Alkassar, a James Beard semifinalist for Outstanding Restaurateur and co-founder of Feal Hospitality.

Together, they’ve crafted an inviting experience where design, flavor, and cultural storytelling intersect—right down to the inlaid tables and custom furniture and furnishings flown in from India.

For this Wok Star Supper Club, the 3-course, 13 dish feast will be served family-style to encourage connection and conversation—like we do in many Asian cultures. Early reservations are encouraged due to limited seating for this event. 



Eleanor’s popular Wok Star Supper Club is a series of gatherings held throughout the year in South Florida. Started in 2006, these gatherings are centered around celebrating Asian culture and cuisine. Her goal is to create a tasting sampler at a great value, support chef-owned restaurants while creating an evening filled with camaraderie and good Asian food. These gatherings are an excellent way to be introduced to what the restaurant has to offer and gives the chef/restaurant an opportunity to talk about their style of cooking. Her followers appreciate she’s done the research and curated a unique dining experience for them.
