Disability Resource Fair

My name is Josephine Novo, and I serve as the Legislative Chair of the Miami-Dade County Commission for Women.
As part of our ongoing outreach initiatives, we are organizing a Disability Resource Fair aimed at supporting mothers and caregivers of individuals with disabilities.
We are inviting key community partners to join us by hosting activation tables or tents at the event, where attendees can learn more about available services and resources. Additionally, we will be having a live cooking demonstration for the kids, free haircuts, a diaper distribution, food trucks, and giving out wheelchairs with the City of Hialeah to children in need. The idea is to connect parents with organizations and everyday needs like places that are willing to accomodate disabled children for their grooming needs, dentistry, companies that provide hard to get toiletries, legal assistance, and medical programs.
The event will be on August 2nd at Milander Center from 10 AM to 3 PM.
