Everyone under the sun is invited to join The LOOP for the Ninth Annual Friday Night Sound Waves “Backstage Pass” series, where iconic tribute acts will light up Las Olas Oceanside Park with legendary hits. From the yacht rock and disco grooves of the Bee Gees and the electrifying energy of Prince to the rock anthems of Rod Stewart and Journey, every Friday night will celebrate the music that shaped generations. Guests will groove into December as the soulful performances of Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston and Neil Diamond will set the tone for a festive and unforgettable season.
On Friday, Dec. 6, Friday Night Sound Waves will present Latraia Savage is Whitney Houston. Latraia Savage leads an unforgettable tribute to Whitney Houston with her stunning performance in Remembering Whitney. Backed by an exceptional six-piece band and vibrant dancers, Latraia captures Whitney’s signature grace, power, and style, captivatingly celebrating one of music’s most beloved voices.
Optional VIP Experiences are available starting at $10 per person.
Attendees are invited to come early to enjoy various pre-concert games on the main lawn starting at 5 p.m., along with local artisan vendors and a rotation of food and drink vendors to sip, sup and shop before, during and after the show.
Presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Beach Business Improvement District, Friday Night Sound Waves welcomes locals and visitors, the young and the young at heart, to enjoy some of South Florida’s best musical talents, performing an eclectic range of genres.
