Get spooky and sustainable with a Halloween-themed community cleanup and costume swap. Coconut Grove BID and local partners invite guests to come dressed in costume and help clean the neighborhood for one hour to help prepare for the Halloween festivities. This event is free and open to the public.

Event Highlights include:

– Community debris cleanup in Coconut Grove with all materials provided (gloves, trash bags, vests)
– Halloween costume swap — drop off and take home lightly-worn costumes
(Those who want to donate their gently-used costumes can do so from now through October 8 by dropping them off at the Coconut Grove BID office, local library, ChillN Coconut Grove or participating schools (St. Stephen’s, Ransom Everglades, Carrollton)
– Family-friendly activities and refreshments
– Prizes for best group costume themes among volunteers
– Photo opportunities throughout the event
