Washington, DC converges with Miami Beach for the 16th Annual MIAMI TAKEOVER, a vibrant celebration spanning three days of events July 26th – 29th, 2024 and dedicated to GOGO MUSIC, ART, CULTURE, and the OLYMPIC Spirit. This year’s highlight event on Saturday July 27th at the Miami Beach Bandshell 7275 Collins Ave, 5-11pm, showcases the Art of GOGO Music featuring the infectious beats of renowned GOGO artists Janae Music, Backyard Band, SIrius Company, Black Passion & a Digital Sports Art Exhibition, highlighting the sports artistry of acclaimed artists such as Giovanni Decunto, Perry Milou, Sid Daniels, Marcus Suarez, Brigitte Andrade, and Angelo Martinez among others, along with an Olympic sports paint-off competition, featuring DC Artist Demont “Peekaso” Pinder and Miami Artist Marvin Weeks. The event is proudly sponsored by the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority, Greater Miami Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Art of Black Miami, Black Affairs Advisory Committee, Miami Beach Band Shell, and Bibi Art Media Inc.
