The Center for Literature and Theatre at MDC and Books & Books Welcome World-Renowned Children’s Book Author Jon Scieszka

The Center for Literature and Theatre @ Miami Dade College (MDC), in partnership with Books & Books, will welcome world-renowned children’s book author, Jon Scieszka, to present his latest book Frank Einstein and the Antimatter Motor at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 27, at Books & Books in Coral Gables.
A passionate champion for reading, Scieszka will visit public schools prior to his presentation at Books & Books. He will also make a special presentation to children at a park in East Little Haiti, where following the guidelines of the Children’s Trust’s Read to Learn Books for Free program, the Center for Literature and Theatre has placed a Read to Learn Books for Free bookshelf. Scieszka’s books will fill the shelf for the day, and the children he meets there will be able to take free books home
