A thousand cyclists are setting out to raise $750,000 to make a difference in the lives of people affected by multiple sclerosis.
Cyclists will ride up to 175 miles over two days. Bike MS: Breakaway to Key Largo will depart from FIU’s Riccardo Silva Stadium on Saturday, Mar. 2, and conclude at Key Largo Resorts. Participants who choose to will make the return trip the following day.
The ride will feature fully stocked rest stops along the way, and a fun, festive finish line complete with massages and music.
“Bike MS is more than a ride,” said Robin Nunley, president, National MS Society, South Florida. “With each pedal stroke and fundraising dollar, our cyclists are bringing us closer to our ultimate goal — a world free of MS. Funds raised from Bike MS: Breakaway to Key Largo support cutting-edge MS research as well as programs and services for people living with MS in this community.”
Bike MS: Breakaway to Key Largo is one of more than 70 rides across the country hosted by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This year, more than 80,000 people are expected to participate in Bike MS nationwide.
Primal is the Premier National Sponsor of Bike MS and the official National Cycling Apparel Sponsor.
