Mayor Oliver Gilbert hosted his 12th Annual Laptop Giveaway May 26 -28, 2020. This year was different with the laptops distributed via drive-thru instead of the usual large celebration inside City Hall. Despite the challenges during this time, Mayor Gilbert remained committed to the tradition of providing the graduating Seniors of Miami Northwestern, Miami Norland and Miami Carol City Senior High Schools with the laptops. Although our graduates didn’t get to walk across the stage and receive their diplomas they will get to walk into their college classrooms with a new laptop.
