The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair will host its annual Field Trip Days in collaboration with Miami-Dade County’s public schools, parochial schools, private schools, charter schools and home schools on March 15, 20, 21 and April 3 & 4, 2024, at the Fairgrounds at Tamiami Park on SW 112th Avenue and Coral Way. Field Trip Days take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. exclusively for students, teachers and chaperones, who enter free. Admission gates will open to the general public at 4 p.m., after students have returned to their schools.
Each year, the Youth Fair designates five school field trips for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade in Miami-Dade County and dedicates the fairgrounds to students by grade level. Teachers and students will experience the best of youth projects of all kinds when they visit The Youth Fair, from art to photography, crafts and much more. Organized school field trips began with the goal of providing an opportunity to the students of Miami-Dade County to come and experience The Youth Fair first-hand, including learning more about the South Florida agriculture inside The Barn and The Garden. In 2023, The Youth Fair hosted more than 32,000 Miami-Dade County students for five exclusive mornings of fun at the fairgrounds, averaging roughly 6,436 students each field trip day and 5,171 participated in the annual Exceptional Students Field Trip Day, devoted to those of all ages with special needs.
