In the last two years, we’ve been overwhelmed with disharmony, anxiety, and uncertainty like we have never seen before. Between a hostile political climate and an unnerving global pandemic, the very core of our spirit has been shattered beyond words. Throughout many parts of society we continue to focus on the reasons why things are bad.
Sadly, the blame game has become a way of life. Sitting back and watching all of this
unfold, I believed we needed to shift the conversation. As the CEO of Camacol Doral and being blessed to be in a leadership role, I decided that we would not sit back anymore. It was time to take action. In partnership with Camacol Doral, The City of Doral, Camacol, The Doral Bar Association, Dorcam and Community Newspapers, we joined forces on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, to present the first annual “Giving Thanks Reception,” a celebration of Goodwill and Optimism.
This unique event was hosted and sponsored by our good friends at The Intercontinental Hotel Doral Miami. As we entered the holiday season, we gathered together with
government Leaders and business executives in a spirit of goodwill, optimism and celebration. Our purpose was to bring together like-minded individuals and dear friends to share an evening full of goodwill and camaraderie as we collectively strived to move forward with a new hope and vision for the future.
