The Calta Group, a real estate, development, and construction company led by brothers Ignazio and Gaetano Caltagirone, welcomed 80 of Miami’s leading brokers and esteemed guests on Wednesday, Apr. 30, at MiaCucina for an exclusive preview of Via Veneto, an impeccably designed boutique collection of Coral Gables brownstones that channel Italian sophistication and timeless elegance.

The event was co-hosted by Compass’ Ben Moss and Ignacio Villanueva, who were recently named the exclusive sales and marketing team for Via Veneto.

The Calta Group, whose family legacy includes the development and construction of landmark properties such as the historic Four Seasons Taormina — recently featured in HBO’s The White Lotus — is bringing their unrivaled expertise in old-world elegance to the heart of Coral Gables with Via Veneto. To design the residences’ signature gourmet kitchens, The Calta Group has partnered with MiaCucina, widely renowned for its sophisticated Italian furnishings that blend contemporary innovation with timeless European design.

The event gave guests an up-close look at the sleek finishes and fine Italian craftsmanship that will define daily living at the sophisticated boutique development. As part of the evening, guests enjoyed a live cooking demonstration in MiaCucina’s exquisite showroom, featuring Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove appliances and showcasing the artistry and functionality that will characterize Via Veneto’s kitchen and living spaces.

“With Via Veneto, we are bringing European sophistication to the center of Coral Gables, and, as kitchens are the heart of a home, we are proud to collaborate with MiaCucina to create uniquely world-class Italian-designed living spaces,” said Gaetano Caltagirone, co-founder of The Calta Group. “It was our pleasure to welcome so many wonderful colleagues and guests for this exclusive preview event, where we had the honor of sharing our vision and providing a taste of the Via Veneto experience.”

Located in the heart of Coral Gables at the crossroads of Sevilla and Palermo, at 915 Palermo Ave., Via Veneto is poised to become one of Coral Gables’ most sought-after residential developments. The sophisticated boutique project will feature 10 three-story brownstones, each offering more than 5,500 square feet of living space.

Residents enjoy walking distance to many of the area’s treasured landmarks such as The Biltmore Hotel, Venetian Pool, Desoto Plaza and the world-famous Miracle Mile with its dazzling array of boutiques, off-Broadway shows, musical performances, art galleries and fine restaurants.

Drawing inspiration from the neoclassical Mediterranean colonial style, Via Veneto’s exteriors combine timeless southern European elegance with modern refinement.

Architectural details such as recessed entry porticoes, wrought-iron-inspired balconies, and intricate stonework complement Coral Gables’ historical charm.

Each residence offers four oversized bedrooms, four and a half baths, and expansive entertainment and living areas. Thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces with private terraces and summer kitchens overlook a picturesque courtyard, providing an ideal blend of indoor and outdoor living.

Priced from $5.5 million, Via Veneto is designed by renowned architect Nelson de Leon with interiors by Sensi Casa. The modern Mediterranean brownstones offer the added convenience of an elevator accessing all three levels.

Groundbreaking for this iconic project, which pays homage to Coral Gables’ glorious past while introducing state-of-the-art grandeur, is slated for spring 2025.
