A Safe Haven for Newborns will have our first live-streamed telethon on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 7PM.
We are honored and so very thankful that Emmy-nominated, multimedia journalist and CBS News co-anchor, Lauren Pastrana believes in what we do and will host our first-ever telethon. Lauren is the ultimate professional, so warm and engaging; truly bringing our events to life
As many of you already know, our mission is to save lives; the mother and her newborn by supporting distressed pregnant girls and women from all walks of life in their time of crisis as they make decisions that are in the best interest of their baby and themselves.
Everyone is assisted. We are never judgmental and; we do not charge for any of our services.
In 2020, fourteen (14) precious newborns were saved from the ultimate in infant abuse, abandonment, and are now living with their forever families. A healthy boy was left safely in the Safe Haven program this year. Now 331 newborns (325 in Florida, five(5) in other states and one in the country of Honduras) now have a chance at a future.
The telethon will enable A Safe Haven for Newborns to continue our life-saving mission. The majority of our funding is from our annual gala, golf tournament and our 5K Run/Walk, which were all postponed in 2020.
So, we are asking for your help!
Our telethon will certainly touch your heart as you see and hear from safe haven babies that are now in high school and getting ready for college. So, please mark your calendar to join us on Saturday March 20, 2021 at 7PM.
