Help save the Egrets and Tricolored Heron at Calusa

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Amanda Prieto talks about the Calusa Rookery and the birds that feed and breed there, including Great Egrets. It’s a unique opportunity to watch nature at its best, plus you can see the #TricoloredHeron which also calls Calusa Rookery home
It’s an amazing story that is taking place just few blocks south of Kendall Drive and approximately SW 133Ave, at the site of the old 160 plus acre, Calusa Golf Course.
The golf course, which was sold years ago to a developer, had the property rezoned and now some 500 homes can be built there.
