On Sunday, Sept. 22nd, 2024, Amerant Bank, Florida’s bank of choice with a growing presence across South Florida, proudly presented a check for $7,500 to the Miami Marlins at LoanDepot Park for the Marlins Saves program. The proceeds support the Miami Marlins Foundation’s programs, which positively impact South Florida by creating opportunities for youth to stay active, achieve academic success, and build leadership skills.
More than 1,200 Amerant team members, guests, and their families gathered to celebrate Family Day at the Ballpark and the milestone of the Marlins Saves Program, showcasing Amerant’s dedication to supporting the community and extending its partnership with the Miami Marlins beyond the baseball field.
The event featured a ceremonial first pitch by Amerant Bank’s Chief People Officer, Mariola Sanchez, along with a check presentation of the Marlins Saves Program that also included Amerant’s Chief Financial Officer, Sharymar Calderon, and Chief Operations Officer, Carlos Iafigliola. They were joined on the field by Marlins President of Business Operations, Caroline O’Connor.
“We are truly honored to support the Marlins Saves Program and contribute to the Miami Marlins Foundation, which makes a positive impact on our community’s youth,” said Mariola Sanchez, Chief People Officer at Amerant Bank. “On behalf of everyone at Amerant Bank, we are grateful and proud of our partnership, and we remain committed to making a difference. Today’s event is a testament to the power of partnerships.”
Earlier in 2024, Amerant Bank, announced its strategic partnership with the Miami Marlins making Amerant Bank the “Hometown Bank” of the team. The partnership includes the Hometown Bank designation, as well as a robust presence of the Amerant branding throughout the stadium. The partnership also established the “Marlins Saves presented by Amerant,” program, which highlights the organizations commitment to the local community.
Amerant Bank continues to take a leading role in local philanthropic efforts, reinforcing its presence as a trusted financial institution dedicated to community support and development. For more information about Amerant Bank’s initiatives, please visit www.amerantbank.com.
