The world-renowned gelato, Anita La Mamma del Gelato, has opened their first Florida store in Aventura and word is spreading quickly about this delicious dessert that has fans around the globe lining up to enjoy it. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony had Aventura Mayor Howard S. Weinberg, Esq; Vice Mayor Amit Bloom, Commissioner Dr. Linda Marks, Commissioner Billy Joel, Commissioner Paul Kruss and Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce Chairman Gary Pyott meeting the restaurant’s leadership team including Alon Levi, co-owner and Operators for Anita USA; Gor Poronian, Head Gelatier and Stav Shlomo, Store Manager as well as the Faith family, owners of the shopping center. From The Faith Group were Co-Founder & President Keith Faith, VP of Construction and Development Roderick Faith, VP of Construction & Development Richard Faith and VP of Real Estate & Asset Management Roy Faith.
Tastings of the incredible array of over 150 unique flavors had guests exclaiming, ”This was absolutely the most delicious ice cream treat I have ever had!” and “ I had no idea gelato could taste so good!”. Anita’s does offer more than gelato…their tempting treats include fruity frozen yogurts, tangy sorbets, creamy cones and delicious soy-based ice cream.
International stores can be found in Israel, Australia, Greece, Spain, England and there are currently two stores in New York with a third being planned there. The Aventura store will be the first in the State of Florida.
