Cutler Bay’s Founders’ Day celebration, which takes place every five years to commemorate the anniversary of the town’s incorporation in 2005, didn’t take place in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To replace the missed event, the town is hosting “Rock the Bay: Cutler Bay’s 16th Birthday Bash.”
Some sponsors for the event already are onboard but the town is seeking additional sponsors for the concert that will be free to residents. Rock the Bay will take place on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 4 to 10 p.m., at Cutler Ridge Park.
Five bands performing live, presented by Florida Rockstars, are RearViewMirror, Miami Rock Heads, Cutler Stew, Limerock and The Regs.
There also will be food trucks, vendors, giveaways and entertainment for the family during the entirely outdoor event. The presenting sponsor is the Luis Andrew Group.
Cutler Ridge Park is located at 10100 SW 200 St. in Cutler Bay.
