Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) proudly recognizes 49 high school seniors named National Merit Scholarship Program semifinalists. These talented students have an opportunity to continue in the competition to be awarded one of nearly 7,000 National Merit Scholarships in the spring, which have a combined value of approximately $26 million. The National Merit Scholarship Program honors students who demonstrate exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies. To be considered for a Merit Scholarship award, semifinalists must fulfill several requirements to advance in the competition.

 

The 2025 National Merit Scholarship winners will be announced in four separate news releases from April – July 2025. For more information, visit nationalmerit.org.
