All Cities in attendance expressed their excitement to participate in what is believed to be the first and only event to gather cities located in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties to collectively work to advance small business growth and development!

The economic impact generated by connecting the businesses the many Cities proved more valuable than anticipated.

Minority firms were elated to be able to display their goods and services to over a dozen cities all at once!  So many of these small business owners shared of the amount of time and resources the City of Miramar saved them by extending this great agency connection opportunity.

Cities came prepared to share their upcoming contracting opportunities with the local, small and minority firms in attendance.  Upon hearing of the great services, the firms offered, many procurement professionals scheduled meetings to connect firms with other leaders in need of their assistance.

To their surprise and delight, Cities also learned of amazing services to enhance their bottom line, and goods to improve safety.  For example, the young minority owners of the Lien Library firm who showcased their innovative approach to helping cities collect outstanding liens electronically.  And a female entrepreneur, Ava Williams, that introduced the cities to clear air equipment to rid the atmosphere of contaminants and ensures more protection for staff, residents and guests that visit the city facilities.
