Thousands of Broward County high school students are invited to compete for prize money by answering the $10,000 question: How can artificial intelligence be used to make your favorite business even better?
The KPMG AI Business Revolution Challenge, which runs through November 22, is open to all Broward County Public Schools students in grades 9-12. The contest is available on the free KnoPro platform offered by the national education non-profit NAF.

The KnoPro challenge asks students to share their best ideas for how AI can help their favorite businesses improve their products or services, boost customer service, and grow their business while making a positive impact on the world. The winning students or teams will split $10,000.
“In addition to building professional and future ready skills, such as problem solving, communication, and social awareness, all Broward County Public Schools high school students can win substantial prize money,” said NAF’s Assistant Director of Academy Development Jessica D. Williams. “We look forward to their innovative ideas for making the business world better using AI.”
Launched a year ago, KnoPro is a work-based learning platform that enables high school students to tackle real-world problems faced by business leaders, receive expert feedback from industry mentors, grow their professional skills and resumes, while getting the chance to win cash and prizes. The award-winning technology is used by 10,000 students and educators from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands.
According to a NAF survey, more than 97 percent of students said KnoPro boosted their critical skills such as collaboration, communication, problem-solving and social awareness. Plus, 95 percent said they learned new job titles or career paths they weren’t previously aware of.
NAF has a growing presence in Florida with 150 academies, serving 40,000 students at 65 high schools. Broward County is home to 18 career-readiness academies at nine high schools. The academies give students real-world job skills and connect them with local employers for mentorships, internships and, potentially, future employment. In all, NAF operates more than 600 academies nationwide, serving more than 110,000 students.
