On Saturday, September 28, Broward Partnership hosted a successful Chefs Helping the Homeless event, presented by BMW of Pembroke Pines, uniting the community’s top chefs and premier restaurants for an unforgettable evening dedicated to combating homelessness in Broward County. Since its inception in 2007, this annual event has not only captured the hearts of diners but also provided critical support for the Partnership’s mission.

The evening began with a lively cocktail reception at the Ft. Lauderdale Country Club, where guests took part in a unique experience—drawing numbers to reveal their secret dining destinations. Chauffeured in luxurious limousines, attendees were escorted to some of the area’s finest restaurants to enjoy expertly crafted meals, with wine pairings thoughtfully selected by each restaurant’s executive chef, creating a one-of-a-kind culinary experience.

Broward Partnership extends its deepest thanks to the outstanding restaurants that contributed to the event’s success, including American Social, Anthony’s Runway 84, Billy’s Stone Crab, Burlock Coast, Café Maxx, Casa D’Angelo, Eddie V’s, Livia Bar & Grill, Lona, Maass, Sardelli’s, Steak 954, Takato, Thasos, The Secret Garden, TRP Taste, Vitolo, and Wild Sea Las Olas.

A big thank you to the event’s generous sponsors, BMW of Pembroke Pines, the Leo Goodwin Foundation, and Memorial Healthcare System, whose support made the evening possible.

Proceeds from this extraordinary event will directly benefit Broward Partnership, helping to fund essential services such as case management, healthcare, housing placement, and food assistance. These programs are vital to helping individuals experiencing homelessness regain stability, find employment, and secure permanent housing.

With immense community support and a shared commitment to change, this year’s Chefs Helping the Homeless event once again demonstrated that doing good has never tasted better. Broward Partnership looks forward to continuing this impactful tradition in the years ahead.
