A 1982 graduate of Miami’s Coral Park High School, Canseco’s then Miami home was damaged during the storm. In 1988 he became the first player in Major League history to hit 40 home runs and steal 40 bases in the same season. But for all his baseball success, Canseco is more notorious for his steroid use. His tell-all book “Juiced” exposed many of the players who used performance enhancing drugs. In case you were wondering why Alex Rodriguez didn’t make an appearance, he was a senior at Miami’s Westminster Christian School at the time.
