Celebrity Chef Donatella Arpaia announced the official opening of her brand new restaurant, NOMA BEACH at Redfish, in Coral Gables! The one-of-a-kind waterfront property, formerly the home of Redfish Grill, highlights Donatella’s signature Coastal Italian cuisine. Fusing together an elevated dining experience with a lively and energetic atmosphere, NOMA BEACH at Redfish is poised to become Miami’s most coveted dining destination. The historical Matheson Hammock Park location has been transformed with renovated interiors, a new enlarged kitchen, an outdoor Wood Stone wood burning oven, and an all white outdoor sophisticated boho beach vibe.
The rooftop, which has stunning views of Miami and the water, will be the hot spot for private events and monthly special events such as winemaker dinners, whiskey nights, and sunset yoga & champagne.
“When my family and I moved to Miami over 5 years ago, I began searching for the perfect restaurant location. The moment my partner Rodney Barreto, President & CEO of Barreto Group, Inc., introduced me to his restaurant at Matheson Hammock Park, I immediately fell in love. Our vision is in line to create an exceptional dining experience with memorable
food and a breathtaking atmosphere,” said Donatella. “As a first-generation Italian that spent my summers in Italy, my philosophy for food is simple – find the best ingredients, shop in season, and make it local as much as possible. The menu is welcoming, delicious, and filled with dishes that are inspired by my summers spent along the coast of Italy.”
Signature dishes such as a large selection of raw fish, oysters, and caviar cannoli “Crudo” are featured. The menu also highlights local Florida swordfish and snapper, along with signature cuts of meat like Florentine style steak, Neapolitan style pizza with sea urchin and burrata, and delicious salads and gluten free fare. Additionally, true to Donatella’s roots, the menu includes a variety of homemade pastas and Donatella’s Award Winning Veal Braised Meatballs.
In addition to the delicious food offerings, the curated wine and cocktail program features diverse options for all palates. The cocktail program offers perfectly mixed classics including Vespers and Smoked Old Fashions, as well as original craft cocktails such as Barrel Aged Negronis, Chocolate Sazeracs, and the Flaming Merengue.
The newly transformed restaurant offers a variety of distinct areas for guests to enjoy. The indoor dining room seats fifty guests and has a cozy VIP room. The rooftop has panoramic views of the water and can host events for forty to ninety people. The lush outdoor dining area is steps away from the sand and comfortably seats over 200 guests, and includes VIP
cabanas for those looking for privacy. Starting in January, Donatella will launch an All Day Saturday Party featuring local musicians.
“The key to any success, especially in the restaurant business, is ownership presence, which will certainly be felt at NOMA BEACH at Redfish. This restaurant is truly an extension of me; the name NOMA comes from the combination of my four year old twins’ names, Noah and Emma,” said Donatella. “I’m thrilled to welcome our neighbors who live in the
community, and visitors looking to celebrate a special occasion.”
Donatella’s partner is Miami native Rodney Barreto, he serves on the board of NexPlat (NASDAQ: NXPL) and is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and Vice Chairman of Progressive Care Inc. He also serves as a Chairman of the Miami Super Bowl Committee and Chairman of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. He has been very active in the Miami-Dade community for over four decades.
NOMA BEACH at Redfish is located at 9610 Old Cutler Rd, Miami, FL 33156. Reservations are available via nomabeach.com and Open Table.
