Who knew going from 0 to 60 in two hours could be so exhilarating – but that’s just what happens at the Doral Chamber of Commerce “Speed Networking Miami.” On Feb. 13, members and guests will get a chance to drive new business by meeting up to 60 fellow professionals at the this super fun and highly networker, 7:30 a.m. at IKEA, 1801 NW 117th Ave, Miami, FL 33172.
Participants have just two-and-a-half minutes to get to know fellow professionals at the table. The switch is then made and they get to re-introduce themselves to the next person before them. The bell rings yet again, they move one chair over, and do it all over again – before a totally new potential customer or contact.
“It’s practical, real, and a whole lot of fun,” says DCC President and CEO Manny Sarmiento. “And it works!”
Breakfast and coffee will be served, compliments of the IKEA Family. All participants are encouraged to invite business associates interested in generating more leads and growing their business, too.
The DCC’s Speed Networking is just one of the many programs, trainings, and networking activities offered each month by the Doral Chamber of Commerce. With a primary goal helping members increase their business through networking, the chamber also provides the communities it serves with developmental leadership and mentorship.
“The Doral Chamber of Commerce operates on the philosophy that those who give business freely to others will benefit in return and get business as well,” Sarmiento added.
As the event typically sells out, registration will not be allowed at the door. Attendees must pre-register and make payment in advance. Cost for DCC members is $9.00 (call for promo code at 305-477-7600). Non-chamber members fee is $19.
