ChamberSOUTH’s esteemed President & CEO Brittnie Bassant announces her departure from the Chamber of Commerce for the Greater South Miami-Dade. Having taken the helm of ChamberSOUTH in 2017, she has served with unparalleled dedication and leadership. For the past six years under her guidance, ChamberSOUTH has thrived and made significant strides in empowering businesses across the Greater South Miami-Dade area.
Throughout her tenure, Brittnie Bassant has proven herself to be a driving force in ChamberSOUTH’s growth. She has transformed it into a dynamic and key resource for businesses in the region. Under her visionary leadership at the Chamber, membership has reached an all-time high, event attendance has grown, and new popular events have been successfully introduced. Notably, all this remarkable success was achieved during the unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic, a testament to Brittnie’s exceptional guidance and resilience.
As Brittnie Bassant embarks on her new journey, she will be assuming the role of President and CEO of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. “I am immensely grateful for the incredible journey I’ve had at ChamberSOUTH, where I had the privilege to serve and work alongside such a vibrant business community,” said Brittnie Bassant, President and CEO of ChamberSOUTH. “The experiences and knowledge gained during my tenure has fueled my dedication to enriching Miami, and I can’t wait to use all that I have learned these past 6 years as I embark on this exciting new chapter in my career as the President & CEO of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce.”
The Board of Directors at ChamberSOUTH is proud to support Brittnie during this transition and expresses their gratitude for her exceptional service to the organization and the community overall. While her presence will be dearly missed, ChamberSOUTH remains committed to our mission to foster collaboration and create a vibrant business community. The Board of Directors will begin its search for a new President and CEO to maintain the level of excellence set by Brittnie and further drive the growth and empowerment of businesses and professionals in the South Miami-Dade area.
