The Children’s Voice Chorus (CVC), based in Palmetto Bay, is performing its “Let Them Grow” concert as a virtual event benefiting the Branches choir program in Florida City and the general scholarship fund of the Children’s Voice Chorus.
The event will take place on Saturday, Mar. 13, at 5 p.m.
The theme is empowerment, determination and resilience, and will feature songs such as Rise Up by Andra Day, The Greatest Love of All by Whitney Houston, Somewhere Only We Know by Keane, I Am Light by India Arie and Fight Song by Rachel Platten.
“The concert features guest artist Inez Barlatier, a local Haitian singer, in a first-time collaboration with Voice of Miami, CVC’s top ensemble,” said Jamie Sutta, CVC’s artistic director. “They will perform her original songs, Magic and Happy. The virtual event showcases the importance of transformative music programs for children.”
The concert is free, donations are encouraged, and there are opportunities to purchase special Watch Party Home Deliveries. Options include food and beverages, a Wine & Cheese Party, a Deluxe Dinner Party and raffle tickets for an iPhone 12 and other prizes.
