Commissioner Jordan to host 12th annual Hispanic Heritage Festival

Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara J. Jordan invites residents to attend the 12th annual Hispanic Heritage Festival, scheduled to take place on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, from 1 to 5 p.m., at Country Village Park, 6550 NW 188th Terrace, in Miami. This annual event celebrates the rich Hispanic influence in the northwest corridor of Miami-Dade County and will feature an array of FREE activities for the entire family, including live entertainment, face painting, bounce houses, rock climbing, food, pony rides, and a dominoes tournament.

“Each year, during Hispanic Heritage Month, this festival highlights the rich culture and diversity in District 1,” Commissioner Jordan said.

Sponsors for this year’s festival are Horsepower Electric, Sedano’s Supermarkets, Related Urban, Dolphins Foundation, El Dorado Furniture, Calder Casino, Odebrecht, Comcast, Lasarte Law Firm, and Borinquen Health Centers.
