Alicia Garcia Priovolos has sixteen years of litigation experience as an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Alicia Priovolos has successfully prosecuted cases involving murder, sexual assault, armed robbery, kidnapping, organized crime, and human trafficking.  Her unwavering commitment to seek justice for victims of violent crime led her to be named Director of the Human Trafficking Unit. Since 2018, Alicia has worked with local, state, and federal law enforcement to recover missing exploited children and youth, and to prosecute their offenders.

Alicia Garcia Priovolos has dedicated her career to serving the citizens of Miami-Dade County. Alicia’s commitment to public service stems from her gratitude and dedication to this community.  As a result of her incredible work, Alicia was awarded Prosecutor of the Year by Florida Attorney General Ashely Moody at the 2020 Annual Human Trafficking Summit.  She was also named Prosecutor of the Year for 2020 and 2021 by the League of Prosecutors.

Alicia Garcia Priovolos attended North Miami Senior High School, Miami-Dade Community College and Florida International University. As a member of FIU’s College of Law Inaugural Class, Alicia earned multiple accolades in law school.
