Jeffrey Kolokoff is a lifelong Floridian and serves as Miami-Dade County Court Judge. He presides over misdemeanor, DUI, criminal traffic, and mental health problem solving court.

Judge Kolokoff spent the first six plus years of his career as a Miami-Dade Assistant State Attorney investigating and prosecuting white collar offenses, RICO, drug trafficking, violent crimes, DUI, and many other crimes. He served as Assistant Chief of the County Court Division overseeing thousands of cases and seventy prosecutors.  He tried numerous bench and jury trials, handled contested evidentiary hearings, argued summary judgments, and taken hundreds of depositions. 

Judge Kolokoff received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Mercer University, where he served on the Mercer Law Review, as Vice Chair of the Moot Court Board, and earned his Certificate in Advanced Legal Drafting, Research, and Writing.  Judge Kolokoff is admitted to practice in state and federal Courts in Florida and in the District of Columbia, and in numerous other courts.

 Judge Kolokoff volunteers and mentors in the Miami-Dade County Teen Court Program and with the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Mock Trial Program.  He previously served as chair of The Florida Bar Standing Committee on the Unlicensed Practice of Law and serves on The Florida Bar Professional Ethics Committee.
