Councilwoman Mary Estimé-Irvin to host the 3rd Annual Soup Joumou Celebration in the City of North Miami in partnership with Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava

Councilwoman Mary Estimé-Irvin invites residents to Kick-off New Year’s Day and Haitian Independence Day with her third annual Soup Joumou Celebration. The New Year’s Day event is in partnership with Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and will feature the Haitian traditional soup joumou, entertainment, and live music. WPLG Local 10 News Anchor Calvin Hughes and Dr. Naomi Blemur, Co-Founder of Balancing Life, will host the celebration. Special performances by recordings artists Mikaben, Lionel Benjamin and Porsha É. 

This cultural event will be held on Saturday, January 1, 2022, between 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the MOCA Plaza located at 700 NE 125 Street, North Miami, Florida 33161. Bring your family and friends for a family fun-filled event.
