Members of the Cutler Ridge Woman’s Club (CRWC) not only serve the community in various ways with toy drives and creating craft projects for charitable groups, they also enjoy art and being creative.

One of their latest projects is a special tablecloth that they painted as a group effort.

“This tablecloth will be entered in competition as one of our art projects when all Miami-Dade clubs of Chapter 11 come together at the GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) gathering near the end of February,” said member Jean Tong-Noon. “We all had a hand in it. This is an event we enter every year, and we enjoy it.”

The Cutler Ridge Woman’s Club meets every fourth Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at Cutler Ridge Park, 10100 SW 200 St, in Cutler Bay. The next speaker will be attorney Bill Glasko on the subject of Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning. Their next big event will be a Bunco luncheon in March.
