PREMIERE PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS:
Changing Seas returns to WPBT and WXEL this June with a landmark 16th season! We hope you’ll tune in for four all new episodes that uncover ancient artifacts and explore modern mysteries. Season 16 kicks off with the premiere episode ‘Ancient Adriatic: Croatia’s Sunken History.’ Season 16 also includes Eagle Rays: Soaring on Spotted Wings, Maui Aloha Aina: From Mauka to Makai, and California Sea Otters: Life on the Edge.

MUSIC SHOWCASE:
This June is full of exciting music specials of all varieties on WPBT and WXEL. We hope you will tune in for new programs such as Simon & Garfunkel – Live in Central Park, Elton John – The Million Dollar Piano, Arrival from Sweden: The Music of ABBA, and more!
CELEBRATING PRIDE:
We are happy to announce a lineup of new and familiar programs that highlight LGBTQ+ voices and stories in celebration of Pride Month. Enjoy programs such as Disco: The Soundtrack of a Revolution, Reel South – A Run for More, We’ll Meet Again Coming Out, and South Florida PBS original production Art Loft – The Art of Equity.

HONORING JUNETEENTH:
This month we honor Juneteenth with specials such as Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnon, Buffalo Soldiers: Fighting on Two Fronts, Pullman and the Railroad Rebellion: American Stories, and George Washington Carver: An Uncommon Life.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:
Join us this June at a variety of events throughout the South Florida community. Events this month include Children’s BookFest at the Broward County Library, Miami Kids Magazine ‘Family Fest,’ film-maker Season 6 Screening and Community Conversation at Savor Cinema, KidVision Mission Season 2 Summer Celebration at Davie Ranch, the finale screening event for On the Town in The Palm Beaches, and more!

KIDS & EDUCATION:
KidVision Full STEAM Ahead is back for a 4th season! This season Miss Penny and the KidVision crew will be learning STEAM skills in the kitchen. Put on your chef’s hats and learn about science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills from the comfort of your own home. KidVision Full STEAM Ahead season X will air for seven weeks starting on June 17 both on-air on WPBT & WXEL and on YouTube.
KidVision Music Time Season 3: Join Miss Penny as she learns about a new composer every month in the latest season of KidVision Music Time! Classical composers come to life and meet Miss Penny and the KidVision kids and learn that their music is still being enjoyed by kids today as they present the Florida Youth Orchestra playing familiar classics. KidVision Music Time Season 3 will premiere monthly on-air and on YouTube starting on June 15th.

HEALTH CHANNEL:
South Florida PBS’ Health Channel is bringing a new innovative series this June that connects medical experts directly to viewers. “Ask the Doc: No Appointment Needed” is an engaging interactive program where viewers can email questions@allhealthtv.com or submit live questions during the show to get tailored health advice from trusted specialists in real time.
Each day features a different medical expert, including a minimally invasive spine surgeon, pediatrician, primary care physician, pharmacist, and nurse practitioner. Send in your questions and watch LIVE, weekdays at 12:30 PM on the Health Channel as well as AllHealthGo’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
Whether dealing with back pain, worried about children’s symptoms, or have general health questions, viewers can get their questions answered by the panel of experts. The lineup includes:
* Mondays: Spine Surgeon Dr. Georgiy Brusovanik on managing back/neck pain
* Tuesdays: Board-Certified Pediatrician Dr. Scarlet Constant on kids’ health
* Wednesdays: Primary Care Physician Dr. Kamaljit Kaur on general health issues
* Thursdays: Dr. Madeline Camejo, Pharmacist, on medications and treatments
* Fridays: Kathryn Block, Clinical Nurse Manager, answers general health queries
