Downtown Coral Gables launches season with Pumpkin Arch, Halloween on the Mile
Pose under the Pumpkin Arch, take, and post a selfie/photo of families, couples, kids, and your furry four-footed friends

The fall season in Downtown Coral Gables is officially here when the annual Pumpkin Arch is unveiled, this year located on the plaza in front of Fritz & Franz Bierhaus at 60 Merrick Way.

“Our picture-perfect fall program includes photo-ops and giveaways from now through Thanksgiving highlighting selfies at the Pumpkin Arch,” said Aura Reinhardt, executive director, Business Improvement District (BID) of Coral Gables.

Pose under the arch, take, and post a selfie/photo of families, couples, kids, and your furry four-footed friends.

“This year we will introduce a new tradition, Pumpkin Paradox, a game via Instagram to guess the number of pumpkins on the arch and post to @experiencecoralgables and tag #pumpkinparadox between Oct. 11 and Nov. 30. The winner will be announced on Dec. 5.

First prize is a $100 BID gift card, so be sure to check out our Instagram for contest details,” Reinhardt continued.

The annual Spooktacular Halloween on the Mile takes place on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Expect hauntingly fun activities, tricks, treats and much more.

Fall is a gorgeous time in the City Beautiful to stroll, dine outside, shop and enjoy the cool-ish weather in Coral Gables. It’s Oktoberfest Month at Fritz & Franz, so join the celebration with authentic cooking, music, and beer. For more information visit the BID’s website at experiencecoralgables.com.
