South Florida PBS’ Health Channel Virtual Town Hall with Dr. Anthony S. Fauci and top medical experts, COVID Vaccines: Clearing the Air, addressed LIVE public’s questions, misconceptions and misinformation about COVID-19 variants and vaccines that permeate the social media landscape and digital platforms. The virtual town hall was held LIVE on Health Channel’s FB and YT pages @AllHealthGo on Wednesday, August 18th at 7 PM.
Questions such as:
Why are people getting vaccines if you can still get infected?
When will booster shots be available for everyone? Should we get the booster from the same vaccine manufacturer that we got the other shots as well? Can antibody tests tell whether someone needs a booster shot?
Do we know whether it’ll make a difference if you had the Pfizer shot and then get them a Moderna shot or vice versa, or does it have to be the same one that you had earlier?
