Sunset Pediatrics in South Miami is a concierge-model practice where patient care, personal relationships, and attention to detail are the hallmarks.
The practice focuses on every aspect of childhood and adolescent growth and development — including wellness, social and educational needs, adolescent concerns and children with complex medical or developmental conditions. The doctors and staff are committed to providing the highest quality care and developing lifelong relationships with their patients and families.
Dr. Taryn Dubin is honored to be celebrating her two-year anniversary serving children and families in South Miami. She joined Dr. Philip Floyd at Sunset Pediatrics in 2022 when she decided to move with her family from California to Miami, where her husband was born and raised.
“I have a passion for preventative medicine and mental health in pediatric and adolescent populations,” Dr. Dubin said. “I love the opportunity to educate my patients and families and empower them to be part of their own health journey.”
Dr. Dubin completed her undergraduate studies at Emory University with a major in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and minor in Sociology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of California Irvine-Children’s Hospital of Orange County Pediatric Residency Program and was selected to stay on for an additional year to serve as chief resident.
“As a mom of two young children, I understand first-hand what today’s parents are going through, and it is so rewarding for me to be able to help my families during their times of need,” Dr. Dubin said.
The practice was founded by Dr. Philip Floyd in 2008, inspired by his desire to create a unique pediatric care environment for his patients and their families.
Sunset Pediatrics is located at 7300 SW 62 Place, Penthouse-West, South Miami, FL 33143.
