The City of Miramar’s Economic Development and Revitalization Department formerly known as Economic Business and Development heads to Miami April 12 through April 13th, as a sponsor and participant at the US. Caribbean Business Conference 2022 hosted by South Florida District Export Council. Since the city is home to several major companies which operate globally, this will be a great opportunity to welcome future businesses to explore Miramar as their city of choice to do business. We recently had the opportunity of engaging with over 1500 business, trade experts and several leaders around the globe as we attended the 6th Annual Florida International Trade and Cultural Expo, also known as FITCE November 2021 in Broward County, Florida as we displayed what we have to offer in their exhibit hall.
The event was such a huge success the department continues to sponsor and display our programs and services directly related to foreign direct investment. Not to mention with plenty of land developed to bring in foreign direct investment and expand foreign trade zones for headquarters, manufacturing and to allow businesses that can enter the U.S. market, has the department eager to network with other industry professionals and business leaders in regions and areas across the globe in hopes meeting new decision makers and our raise brand awareness as an All-America City. We are highly excited and anticipate a greater attendance at the US Caribbean Business Conference this year as this event will present opportunities to US firms looking to expand their business in the Caribbean.
