Some 300 Miami-Dade County teachers attended a teacher brunch and planning session on May 12, hosted at Fairchild Garden in appreciation for the teachers’ volunteer work administering the successful Fairchild Challenge multi-disciplinary educational program for students at their individual schools. 2018 marks the 16th year of the Fairchild Challenge, which is now conducted at 350 schools. More than 1 million elementary, middle and high school students have participated in the Fairchild Challenge during the past 16 years.
