There’s a new game in town, and only available at the War Memorial Youth Center Athletic Field.
Magical Park, the world’s first digital playground, is offering a limited game you can play this month for Halloween where players get to run around the field to find coin-filled pumpkins hidden around an imaginary haunted house. Other adventures to play in Magical Park, available until the end of the year, include a dinosaur adventure, kitten rescue, alien saving, robot workshop, recycling practice, cleaning up the reef and more. Players can download the Magical Park app free of charge on a smartphone or tablet, available at the Coral Gables Smart City Hub, the App Store or Google Play.
Halloween fun at War Memorial Youth Center
This October is all about having fun at the War Memorial Youth Center by participating in an upcoming event the Community Recreation Department is preparing for all city residents to enjoy. Tickets are limited so reserve your space today.
On Halloween, you’ll have a blast at the Drive-Thru Trick or Treat Caravan on Saturday, Oct. 31, 5-9 p.m. Get creative and decorate your car in the most spine-chilling way and come dressed in your ghoulish costumes to the Youth Center Parking Lot on Anastasia Avenue. Cost is $10 per vehicle. Tickets for the event must be purchased in advance. To reserve your space visit www.playgables.com.

Seniors stay active and social with monthly Zoom classes
Coral Gables adults who are 50 years of age and older can stay social and active by participating in a variety of fitness classes offered by the Adult Activity Center via Zoom.
Keep a healthy routine and socialize with other seniors from the safety and comfort of your home, while following social distancing guidelines. Monthly pre-registration is required.
