Dr. Lester Brown Park – A ribbon cutting was held on August 8, 2023, and the new facility is open to the public. The park includes a new community building with locker rooms, expanded parking lot, expanded walking trail, fitness area, and playground.
Bennett Lifter Park- A ribbon cutting was held on September 14, 2023, and the new facility is open to the public. The park includes a new community building, basketball court, two pavilions, expanded parking lot, and playground.
Brentwood Park (formerly Brentwood Pool) is in the permitting and bidding phase. Park renovations to include new playground, walking trail, fitness stations, restroom building, pavilions and perimeter fencing for enhanced security.
Rolling Oaks Park, the City’s regional park facility, will be renovated to include a new welcome center, expanded lit walking trails, a second playground facility and a new main entrance off NW 183rd Street. Construction work is currently underway and is expected to be completed in Fall 2024.
Risco Park: The scope of Risco Park will be included in the City’s
Performing Arts Center facility
Scott Park: Scott Park is in the early design phase. Design of the
facility expected to be completed in early 2024, after
which it will enter the permitting phase.
