Parade… The Village of Palmetto Bay participated in the 23rd Annual Miracle on 136th Street Holiday Parade on November 23. Hundreds gathered at The Falls for the afternoon event to ring in the holidays in style. Mayor Karyn Cunningham and Councilmember Patrick Fiore joined in the annual procession along with marching bands, floats and more.

Mobility Hubs Public Involvement Workshop is on Wednesday, December 11, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Village of Palmetto Bay Municipal Center, 9705 East Hibiscus Street, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157. You may want to attend this if you’re concerned about enhancements to the transit system, including the Village iBus, Metrobus service and other service. The idea is to improve accessibility, connectivity, mobility and safety for pedestrians, bicyclists and transit riders through the placement of community-level mobility hubs with the Village’s roadway network. There will be two public meetings at the Village Hall to get input from residents and stakeholders, share information and conceptual designs. Graphics will be displayed and the project team will be there to answer any questions.

Rotary Club Meeting – It will take place on Tuesday, December 10, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Ludovici Park in the Edward & Arlene Feller Community Room. It’s located at 17641 Old Cutler Road, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157.
