More than 550 prominent attorneys, judges, business and community leaders attended Legal Services of Greater Miami’s 50th anniversary “Heart of Giving Gala” on May 7 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami. U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, as well as members of the Miami-Dade County Commission and Florida Legislature, were present to celebrate the evening and the achievements of the organization. Senior U.S. District Judge Patricia A. Seitz presented LSGMI executive director Marcia K. Cypen with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her 40 years of service and leadership at LSGMI.
