On February 28th, the not-for-profit organization Little Bear Big Heart made its first delivery of 100 teddy bears to the Miami-Dade Police Department. Little Bear Big Heart’s mission is to educate the public about the importance of helping comfort abused, neglected, abandoned and traumatized individuals, especially children. The organization provides lovable teddy bears to Family Court judge’s chambers, police patrol cars and fire trucks for distribution to those experiencing challenges.

“The bears are specially made to soak up tears and give warm hugs,” said Addy Villanueva, president of Little Bear Big Heart.
