Diamonds & Diapers was founded five yeas ago by a small group of friends to help with one of the biggest challenges the Lotus Village (at that time the Lotus House) faced — a shortage of diapers for the many children who live there. Over the years, the event has provided thousands of diapers to Lotus Village residents. This year, they have collected more than 18,000 diapers. Guests recently gathered for an evening of jazz music, led by Max Trullenque, who leads popular Miami band Foom; shopping and fun, all for a great cause. This year’s event was hosted at Prashnik Fine Jewelers in benefit of the Sundari Foundation.
