Local ‘Hanukkah Factory’ to offer unique Festival of Lights pop-up

The “Hanukkah Factory,” the nation’s first-ever immersive Hanukkah pop-up experience, opens in Kendall on Dec. 18. The multi-sensory experience brings the Hanukkah story to life and will appeal to all ages with multiple themed rooms, unique interactive experiences, and a dedicated Hanukkah-themed life-size game room.

The self-guided tour celebrates the miracle of Hanukkah, its traditions, foods and symbols.

There also is an engaging Menorah Madness treasure hunt that will take guests throughout the entire venue.

The visionary behind the Hanukkah Factory is Jonathan Tabachnikoff, considered one of the area’s most innovative young rabbis. Tabachnikoff envisioned a gathering place at which South Florida could celebrate the Festival of Lights and provide the community with a great holiday experience.

“The Hanukkah Factory will give guests an unforgettable chance to experience Hanukkah with all of the senses,” Tabachnikoff said. “With interactive spaces inspired by traditional holiday symbols such as menorahs and dreidels (four-sided spinning tops), Hanukkah foods such as donuts and latkes (potato pancakes), and the history of the holiday and its hero, Judah the Maccabee, it’s simply a fun and engaging Hanukkah experience for everyone.”

With spaces designed to make holiday memories with family and friends, the eye-popping designs at the Hanukkah Factory also appeal to those looking for the perfect backdrops for holiday selfies and family photos.

The Hanukkah Factory runs from Dec. 18 through Jan. 5, 2020 at the 305 Club, 8770 SW 131 St. Tickets for the unique experience are $25 for adults and $18 for seniors, kids, tweens and teens. Toddlers 3 and under are free with an adult ticket. For information and ticket purchases, visit http://hanukkahfactory.com/ or call 800-988-1565.
